What We Do At Essential Floor Care

We have a dedicated process which is guaranteed to work every time. But not every customer wants a new finish. Some people just want gaps in their flooring filled. Or they want a whole new wooden floor surface.
And that’s why, at Essential Floor Care, we offer various floor restoration packages in Suffolk. These are:
- Wooden floor sanding with oiling - Hard wax oil is applied to the wooden flooring after sanding. The sanding equipment is an H-rated advanced extraction system which removes 99.9% of the dust. Hard wax oil is then applied to give the floor protection and an attractive sheen. It cures after five hours, during which time floor traffic is banned. After 12 hours the furniture can be replaced.
- Wooden floor sanding with lacquering - We employ a similar sanding system to when we apply wax to the wooden flooring. It is sanded in the same way, but the application of the lacquer is different. Again, no foot traffic is permitted for around five hours. It’s best to wait 24 hours to replace the furniture – and even up to 36 hours in some cases.
- Wood floor sanding and filling gaps - Wood splint - from reclaimed floorboards – is used to fill in any gaps between boards. Sanding is then carried out, and then the protection, whether oil or lacquer, is applied.
- Wood cleaning and oiling - Sometimes all your wooden floor requires to maintain its beauty is to have another coating of oil applied. We can clean the floor first and then apply the oil.
- Keeping your flooring maintained - It makes sense to have a maintenance plan for keeping your flooring looking as good as the first day you had it done. Not only that, but it will also last you for longer too.
