The guys worked really hard on these floors. Being oak, it is a tough material to deal with. But the right professional sanding equipment and dust extractors made all the difference (as well as keeping the house completely dust-free). The oil/colour preparations were exactly right and have really brought out the natural grain and colour properties of the wood.

They have given us plenty of advice on how to look after the floors properly and we've now got the right materials to clean and replenish the wood should it become necessary.

So, all round, an excellent service, very highly recommended.

We used this company to clean the 22-year-old carpets in our house and are delighted with the results. They have been given a new lease of life and much cheaper than replacing them. The guys work efficiently and cleanly - all the work was carried out within a morning. Unfortunately our bedroom carpet suffered an accident a day after it had been cleaned but they came back within a day to restore it to its former glory. We can highly recommend this company and will most certainly use them again should the situation require.

We recently had our lounge carpet, kitchen tiled floor, dining room and hall wood floors and both bathroom floors cleaned all in the same day. Nothing was too much trouble for Shane and Len. We have solid oak flooring in the living room and hallway which had a sealant put on over 10 years ago and was peeling and flaking off, the oak was also a horrible smokey colour. The Essential team were so polite, friendly and did an amazing job on both areas. We also had large grooves down the hallway from a failed attempt of sanding outselves and they spent time and care to sand these out. We couldnt recommend them any higher, we are delighted with the results and will for sure be using them again.

Our very heavily coated slate floor had years of sealant covering up the stone, making it a very tough job to strip and reseal. The team worked really hard to achieve an excellent finish, taking a lot more time and effort than could have been anticipated at the outset, at no extra cost.
They arrived on time and were friendly and efficient, and are eco-conscious in their choice of products.
We highly recommend and would use again.

We have used this company many times in the past, and on each occasion the two operatives have carried out most thorough and efficient cleaning of our carpets. They are a couple of friendly and hard working persons, and give plenty of advice about keeping our carpets in good condition. They turn up on time, get straight down to work, and leave the areas they have been working on neat and tidy. I thoroughly recommend this company.

I had my carpets cleaned by essential last week. I was moving out of a tenanted property and needed my deposit back.

Shane and Lenny cleaned my Living Room carpet which had been destroyed by my 2 young children. It came up like new. They genuinely want to please customers and as such do a great job. If a stain can be removed, they will remove it.
